At ClutterBye, maintaining the security of your data is a priority and I am committed to respecting your privacy rights.
Data Collected
I collect the following information about you:
- your name
- your contact details: postal address, telephone numbers, and e-mail address
- personal details with regard to your home and lifestyle, or in the case of a group the size and dynamic of the group
- before and after photographs (with your permission)
Data Usage
I use this information:
- to provide decluttering information or services to you
- in giving examples to other clients of how particular problems can be overcome. In any instance of this kind information will be depersonalised and you as a client would be unidentifiable
- as a photographic example of before and after scenarios on ClutterBye website or Facebook page (with your express permission)
- where I have a legal right or duty to share or disclose your information (for example with governmental bodies, regulators, law enforcement agencies, courts/tribunals and insurers when I am required to do so to comply with our legal obligations)
Data Protection
I am committed to keeping your personal data safe and secure.
- Your data is stored on my computer and I also use my phone to access your information. Both my pc and phone are password-protected
- The paper records I keep about you are a print out of your initial contact information, with some brief hand written notes about our contact history, and a copy of my Terms and Conditions document signed and dated by you, if you are a one-to-one client. This signed Terms and Conditions document protects both of us and is the information I must present to my insurer, Westminster Insurance, in the case of an insurance claim
Data Retention
I will not retain your data for longer than necessary for the purposes set out in this Policy. Different retention periods apply for different types of data, however the longest I will normally hold any personal data is 6 years.
Contacting You
I will only use your information in this respect where it is necessary so that we can interact and I can respond to any communications you send to me, including where you use the Contact page.
Your Rights
You have the following rights:
- the right to ask for a copy of personal data that I hold about you
- the right to request that I delete personal data held on you; where I no longer have any legal reason to retain it
- the right to ask me to update and correct any out-of-date or incorrect personal data that I hold about you
